Take the Impossible “Literacy” Test Louisiana Gave Black Voters in the 1960s
After standing in lines for hours Blacks would need to pass a literacy test in order to be elible to vote. They would take it one at a time so they could recieve not help. You had 10 minutes to answer all 30 questions correctly. One wrong answer or going over the ten minutes was failing the test. Below are question that have been adapted from the Lousiana Test.
